Native. Flowers have fragrant, yellow, ribbon-like petals, 1.5" in diameter and bloom in spring. Does well in woods, shade and naturalized situations. In full sun and good soil will develop into a well rounded vase-shaped plant. Use in the shrub border or as screen plant.
